Exeter City Supporters’ Trust Statement

jedpenberthy3

Sadly, Trustees of the Exeter City Supporters’ Trust have been, in past few days, subject to abuse both during and after matches.

The Supporters’ Trust has guided the club through many years of growth both on and off the pitch.

Trustees are volunteers who step up and give their time and energy to make a real difference to our club. They are as passionate and dedicated to our progress as any other supporter and take the responsibilities that are required seriously and diligently.

Please continue to support everybody at the club, as we negotiate this difficult period. There is no place at Exeter City FC for this type of behaviour.

We welcome your opinions, but we will not tolerate personal abuse.

Please use this e-mail address enquiries@weownexetercityfc.co.uk to contact us and we will do our best to respond to you in a timely manner.

Let’s be Grecians together, not divided!

Causing harm or distress to another is in any event naive. Irrespective of the circumstances, abusing volunteers at 'Our Club' is totally unacceptable. Such people are not genuine football supporters and completely fail to understand the challenging issues lower league club's have to currently manage .

Let's turn the focus on those grecians who turn up at Broadhall Way Stevenage tomorrow. In the current circumstances, maybe The Trust could arrange some form of 'thank you' for each and everyone of them .

The majority of us supporters appreciate you stepping up to volunteer ♥️

Hopefully the minority, gain some maturity!
