Exeter City win the Football Shirts Charity 5k competition for the third time

Hat-trick of wins for the Trust Family

We are proud to announce that Exeter City have won the Football Shirts For Charity 5k Challenge for the third year running, completing a hat-trick of wins.

Football Shirts For Charity will be visiting St James Park on Tuesday 30th August ahead of the Papa John’s Trophy fixture vs Newport County, to present the Football Shirt Charity 5k 2022 trophy to Exeter City FC.

Successful Grecian participants sporting shirts from through the ages meant Exeter City were again successfully top the league table at the end of the season and fought off some strong, close competition.

We saw off charges from Alton FC and Premier League Southampton and to finish on 15pts.

Overall 38 teams were represented and we'd like to thank all supporters of all clubs who took part to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund and a Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund.

FSFC have expressed their gratitude for every single entrant - and the club's incredible support for the event which has resulted in raising vital money for multiple charities.

Members from FSFC will be around SJP ahead of the game tomorrow and are looking for donations to be contributed. Let's continue our support for the cause.

To offer to donate or find out more about the causes, please email footballshirtsfc@gmail.com.

Thank you to everyone who took part and represented City!
