Following last week’s deadline, we are delighted to have eight strong candidates nominated for this year’s Trust Board election.

As part of the election process, each candidate has produced a 400-word manifesto for members to read ahead of the polls opening on October 2, 2021.

Further details on the hustings event and online voting process will follow via the Trust website, social media accounts, and newsletters, but in the meantime, below are the remaining key dates for this year’s election.

• October 2 – Hustings (coinciding with the Walsall Home Game)

• October 2 – Voting Period Open (After Hustings)

• October 9 – Deadline for receipt of ballot papers and electronic votes

• October 16 – AGM and Confirmation of Results (coinciding with the Newport County Home Game)
