Nigel was elected to the Trust Board in November 2025 and is a member of the Finance & Governance Group. He has been a City supporter since 1971, and a Trust member since 2003. He was born and brought up in Exeter but spent most of his working life in London and south-east England. Although he lived away from Devon for 30+ years, he still managed to get to SJP as much as he could, as well as travelling to plenty of away games every season.

At work he led on a variety of organisational issues like the development of business plans, strategies, and performance frameworks, and intends to bring this experience to the Trust/Club governance arrangements. Having moved back to Exeter in 2022, he spent a couple of years renovating a house, but is now ready to build upon the sterling work of Trustees and volunteers – past and present – to preserve and enhance fan-ownership of our beloved football club.
