Debra grew up in Exeter, attending Bishop Blackall School, and comes from generations of proud Exeter City supporters, a tradition that continues with my children and grandchildren.

Her working life and voluntary roles focuses on mental health, supporting people of all ages and abilities. Debra has trained and worked extensively in this field and as a volunteer at a local support centre.

Debra regularly helps people with disability claims and appeals so they can access the support they deserve.

Exeter City Football Club has always been part of her life. Having worked at the club for many years she has met so many amazing people who share the same love for our fan owned club and its strong values of inclusion and community ownership.

“It is both a privilege and at times a challenge to serve at Trust boardroom level. I hope my example will encourage more ladies and younger supporters to step forward in future and help keep Exeter City FC inclusive and proudly fan owned for generations to come.”
